Product Engineer / MATTR
As a product engineer, we research, explore and implement ideas for future product opportunities for verifiable credentials and trusted ecosystems. I dive deep into technical details to ensure I can surface and communicate solutions to customers that solve real problems. We build prototypes not only to validate ideas, but to shape an emerging market.
We are our first customers, using our API platform, utilizing our native & react-native SDKs, testing our mobile apps.
I am especially interested in working on the standards & specifications that shape the market of digital credentials, and I support our efforts participating in interoperability events. By building against new drafts of specifications, we are gaining implementation experience, which in turn helps to improve the specifications. I also use any excuse to work on anything remotely connected to cryptography.

Technical Product Manager / SPARETECH
With the company growing, I was the natural candidate to fill the need for a dedicated technical product manager, due to my inherent interest in product development and my technical knowledge as an engineer.
- I helped establish a basic product management process and was the PM for a team of 5 engineers in a “Shape Up”-like setup.
- Together with the tech lead and our data analyst, I worked on further improving our product database and product search.
- I collaborated closely with our CEO and the engineering team lead on our product direction.
Software Engineer / SPARETECHAs the third software engineer in a small startup, I was involved in building the foundation of our B2B SaaS solution, with a focus on our data ingress and processing pipeline.
- I built a flexible parsing solution for complex, classified spare part product data, to make the data searchable and comparable across various data sources.
- I collaborated with customers on classification standards for spare parts product data.
- I prioritized, planned and implemented product features around our product database.
- I lead the shift to a hybrid and remote work model, focussing on async communication and collaboration.

Research Associate / University of Münster
As a member of the "Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 656 Molecular Cardiovascular Imaging", I worked in an interdisciplinary team to develop new molecular imaging methods to examine cardiovascular diseases.
- I built mathematical models for medical image reconstruction methods.
- I designed and developed algorithms for those mathematical models.
- I analysed dynamic medical imaging data.
- I participated in multiple conferences and workshops to present and discuss our research with other mathematicians, physicists, chemists and medical doctors.
One highlight of my time in the research center was developing workshops for high school and elementary students ot stimulate interest in mathematics in general, and applied mathematics & medical imaging in particular.
