I am a Product Engineer and Applied Mathematician from Germany living in New Zealand. I currently work at MATTR , where I help shape the future of digital identity.
I love to learn interesting things and I find most things interesting. I've been coding basically my whole life, spent a considerable amount of time at the university, and enjoy reading and learning about communication, psychology and sociology.
Writing
Nothing here yet. I guess you could call this section aspirational.
Work
At MATTR, I actively help shape the standards around high-trust digital identity and build products that preserve the control and privacy of users while preventing fraud and identity theft online and in-person. Previously, I have been one of the first engineers in an early stage startup in Germany.
Research
I obtained my Ph.D. in applied mathematics at the University of Münster, working in a collaborative research centre on molecular cardiovascular imaging. Collaborating with physicians, physicists, chemists and computer scientists, we developed new methods to examine cardiovascular diseases. In my diploma thesis, I worked on geographical economics.
